   Thank you for your interest in Light Science Studios! On average, a session will last between one to two hours. However, our goal with each session is to ensure that we get the images you need and that we highlight each member of the family. As a result, our sessions don't have a particular time limit, but rather we will spend as much or as little time as is required to take your images. 

 

   When you're ready to book a session, we will meet for an in-person consultation at your home. During this time we will talk about your goals for the session; when and where the session will take place, as well as what you should wear for your session.

   We will explore the areas in your home that we will want to put the artwork, so we can craft the images for those specific spaces. During the consultation, we will also collect the retainer for the session. While we don't charge any session fee, the retainer is a non-refundable payment and reserves your spot on our calendar. The full sum of the retainer will be equal to $200 per person participating in the session up to 10 people, and that sum will be credited toward your final product purchase.  A complete price list of all our product offerings will be provided at your initial in-person consultation, and all products are offered a la carte so we are able to custom design an order that fits your needs and your home. While the amount each customer spends varies, the majority of our clients spend an average of $800 per person in the photo session.

   Light Science Studios has a variety of archival quality products including mounted heirloom prints, custom framed wall-portraits, gallery-wrapped canvas, and leather bound albums that will last for generations! While digital images are available, our primary focus is on wall art and archival albums that will not only adorn your walls for years to come but will document and preserve your family memories.

   When we meet for your consultation, we will cover everything from what the occasion is for the portraits and what to wear, to the product offerings we have and how we can best fulfill your needs. While the whole family is certainly welcome to be present at both the consultation and ordering session, if you have any small children that won't be actively participating in the choosing of the portraits, it might be best to leave them with a sitter so that you may concentrate on the information we will be covering and have a relaxing experience when ordering your portraits. 

 

 

 

BUSINESS PORTRAITS
